This year I decided how to scrapbook all the photos from trips to visit
my son & almost a daughter- in-law or trips they had taken here. I
went with the mini albums (I love to make books!). So an album a trip it
was! I am happy to say I have just completed the last and most involved
one. Yes, I know I am cutting it close... maybe even too last minute for
that under the tree on Christmas morning. But I think all will be
forgiven when they look at them :o)
This was made with retired 6 x6 page protectors ( a great stash find). I cut off the gutter with the binder holes in it. I then added one hole at the top of the remaining gutter. You have got to love the CTMH page protectors! This book was all made using the CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge. I even used the matching stamp set to create journal spots for them to fill in.
This was also made with the Artbooking Cricut cartridge, so easy to cut the 8 x 8 pages of matching My Reflections kit paper. I love the CTMH Kraft Ring Binder. A must for your stash!
This last one took some time!! I think it was well used time :o) I used the Stack the Deck spine method (this can be found on line by Laura Denison) . I have used 3 envelops for each "page", this gives me 3 pockets and 2 surfaces for photos and journal areas. That's a total of 30 areas for photos or... I "built" the book covers and spine from chip board. It was most enjoyable :o)
I found many more ways to add "pages" so I will be making many more Stack the Deck style books.
Happy Holidays to everyone! I hope this helps with any last minute gift ideas (go with one of the first few-LOL!) or plans for next year's gift creating. There is always time to add ideas to your Idea & Plan books, don't we all have those?!
